- Some site improvements such as new garden beds
- Additions to our Caring and Sharing Fund to help seniors afford unexpected expenses, such as glasses and dental work
- Help to provide La Comida meals

Health Support – Your Donations Make A Difference
Recently a kind-hearted senior resident became increasingly embarrassed at having to keep asking people to repeat themselves. He chose to avoid conversations and ceased to participate in recreational and educational activities. As his self-isolation increased, his feeling of self-worth plummeted.
Because of the past generosity of our supporters, we were able to provide him with hearing aids. He Is now back to his bird watching with friends and commented to me the other day, “Tom, I even heard the birds sing!!!”
Because of the many caring members of our extended family, we have been able to enhance the quality of life of many of our elderly residents by providing the resources and support they desperately need. Hearing loss, vision difficulties, dental problems are just a few of the many challenges our elders encounter as they age. At the same time, these challenges represent opportunities to reach out to our elders in a helpful, sensitive manner that demonstrates to them that someone truly cares about their well-being. Please be as generous as your situation allows.
