La Comida de California will serve lunch to seniors at Stevenson House

After serving meals to seniors at the Avenidas facilities since 1978, La Comida needed to find a new place as a home base as Avenidas started their multi-year reconstruction project. Now, they are serving lunch five days a week using the Stevenson House’ well-equipped, commercial kitchen. The news of their move spread throughout the community that the lunch program was the same but the location is different. The number of meals served has climbed back to over 150 in two seating’s.
