Helen MacKenzie is the Managing Director of the Artemis Ventures Fund, Co-Capital Partners and President of MacKenzie & Associates, Inc.
Previously, she was a Bank of America Vice President alternating between the Bank’s Credit Committee and managing corporate lending group. She helped establish the Bank’s risk rating for the non-troubled portfolio, the first global bank to do so. She grew her lending portfolio to be larger than the combined commitments of the numerous venture capital firms she banked. She was Managing Director of multi-billion dollar Softbank Technology Ventures; partner or advisor to more than a dozen smaller venture and other capital funds.
Helen was a founding Board Member of the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children, a Board Member of the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, The Junior League of Palo Alto, President of Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden and the Garden Club of Palo Alto. Helen was founder and Board Chair of the Philanthropic Way Foundation that enabled employees to make grants to charitable organizations in all 50 states. She has a BS in Accounting from California State University at Long Beach with. Helen was recognized as a 2011 Women of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
